enriching our community

However you choose to be involved and share your skills, expertise, time or finances, know that you are enriching our community. Our students love to be engaged with the community around them and see how they’re part of something bigger.

Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to show your support for your child and to engage with the school community. There are many ways to be involved so please speak with your child’s teacher or another member of staff to discuss ways in which you think you can support the school.

Becoming a Volunteer

Apply — Before you can volunteer you must be approved for working with vulnerable people (children). You can do this via the Tasmanian Government website. If you have an existing Tasmanian registration please log in to renew, upgrade or check the status of your application.

Scan and Return — Once registered, email a scanned copy of your Working with Children Registration Card/Letter to us and indicate the area(s) you’d like to make a difference in. We will then be in touch to discuss your options further and coordinate your volunteering.

Community Engagement Committee

The role of the Community Engagement Committee is to strengthen the partnership between parents and the school, and to build and encourage the school community. Members of the Community Engagement Committee have a passion for the school and our vision for the delivery of highest quality Christian Education. The Community Engagement also oversee sub-committees responsible for organising events and activities at the school including the annual Oliebollen Festival, welcome BBQs and coffee mornings for new Parents and Carers at the school. If you'd like to get involved please contact us.

Join the Christian Schools Tasmania Association

For over sixty years, parents and other supporters of our vision, have partnered together to champion teaching and learning from a Christian Worldview. By becoming a member, you have the opportunity to be part of a foundational movement that underpins and sustains our schools.

Joining the Association is for members of our school communities who have a personal commitment to the Christian faith as expressed in the Association’s Statement of Christian Faith.

Mentor a Student

Mentoring or providing a student with work experience can look different for everyone. To discuss an opportunity you would like to offer, please contact us.

Empower Students

By supporting our Scholarships Fund you are enabling more students to receive an excellent Christian education as well as enriching more students’ lives by providing access to extra-curricular experiences which might otherwise be out of their reach due to their personal circumstances.
